Ok, first things for I have to say I haven't try this but I really want to! I think the biggest part is the look of it...it looks very messy, and detailed and that sort of puts me off of it, but I think I just need to put aside some time and give it a go!

Out Going Mail: My Sister's Birthday Card
My sister really values home made things and love getting mail. She's part of a lot of pen pal groups and different exchanges so I thought what better then to make a card for her.
It was a beautiful day so I thought I would take my card making outside.
I forgot I had this pretty wrapping paper. I think I might try and frame pieces of it or do some other sort of art project with it.
I also forgot about all these great stickers and stationary I've had since I was little. I included some of these in with her card for memory sake.
Here's the end product. Not bad for someone who doesn't scrap book or make cards much anymore. I had to wait until she got it to do this post because she's a great sister and checks out my blog often. She said she loved it so I think I hit the mark.
Happy Birthday (again) Crystal!!

DIY Solar Mason Jar Lights
I saw these originally at Creative Cain Cabin and thought "Wonderful, I needed lights for my mason jars...why didn't I think of this?" I was going to put candles in there but I'd have to take them out when I wasn't using them because it gets to hot and they would melt so this is perfect!

DIY: Mini Terrariums
I keep seeing these posts everywhere on how to do these little terrariums and I saw the idea 2 years ago at a craft sale and just took my time getting around to doing it. So here's my version, always simple!
Find the plants you want to use: I had a spider plant from my mom and I had some moss outside (you need to make sure you pick plants that can handle these conditions of course)
Put a little soil in the bottle, and then some rocks, then your moss, and put your spider plant (or whatever other plant you pick) off to a side, a little bit on it's own, making sure the roots are in the soil.
Put a little bit of water in and there you go! Pretty easy right?
The this one (above) is still waiting on it's spider plant but I needed it to grow roots first (below) so when that's ready it will go in there too.
